PURPOSE
“Blessed be Egypt my people…” (Isaiah 19:25)
Travel With Mike (TWM) is an entity dedicated to bringing hope, peace, and prosperity to Egypt and its people by partnering with God’s purposes for Egypt’s destiny, as mentioned in Isaiah 19.
Egypt has been and always will be a significant and important region to Almighty God. Isaiah 19 has a fascinating prophecy for Egypt which seems to be realized more and more as current events occur and God’s unique end-time plan for Egypt unfolds. As described, God’s desire is to one day bring Egypt in close alliance with Assyria and Israel, through a “highway” of peace where the people of those nations will be reconciled and worship as one. However, prior to this event and in God’s perfect wisdom, God will “strike and heal” Egypt in order for the Egyptians to turn their hearts to Him and for the end purpose of healing them, resulting in the people of Egypt being under God’s loving dominion.

Important Region In The Bible
Egypt is truly significant in this triangle of nations, because this “highway” will first come forth from the nation of Egypt. Therefore, are we on the highway of peace? There is a saying that “God travels along the highway of the voluntary agreement of his people.” Obviously, God loves to work with us as long as we align with His purposes and His heart. We are seeing the beginning stages of this “highway” emerge through the faith and prayers of those traveling to Egypt and its neighboring countries for fellowship and worship, creating a relational network of nations. It is this network that will help prepare the way for the ultimate “highway of worship.”

TWM invites you to come and visit the land of Egypt and experience not only its great history but also its unique place of importance in the Bible. This includes Egypt being a home and a place of refuge for the Holy Family, as we read about in Matthew 2. We ask you to pray and intercede for Egypt and let your faith increase as you pray for the hearts of the Egyptians— to have a national encounter with the Lord that will enable Egypt to fulfill its destiny and be a blessing in the region.
